Mrs. Chasie Bridges Myers, 53, a native of the Fincastle neighborhood and well known here, died at her home near Ladoga early Monday after an illness of about a month. Funeral services were held at the Ladoga Presbyterian church Wednesday afternoon. Mrs. Myers was born near Fincastle August 9, 1886, the daughter of John L and Melvina Bridges and was married October 31, 1905, to Franz O. Myers, who survives. Mrs. Myers was a member of the Ladoga Literary Circle and the Presbyterian church of that place and Kappa Kappa sorority. She was a graduate of the Western College of Oxford, Ohio. Mrs. Myers was active in the church community affairs. Surviving besides the husband are son Howard Myers of near here; a daughter, Mrs. Frank Barnes of Jeffersonville; two granddaughters; Sarah Myers and Janet Louise Myers near here and a step-mother Mrs. John L. Bridges of near here. The funeral services were in charge of Rev. H. W. Steen of Crawfordsville and Rev. Harold Quigley of this place, pastor of the Presbyterian churches here and at Ladoga.
